Multiple letters. Letter dated 18 February 1924 from Bálint Hóman to de László thanking the artist for his gift to the National Széchenyi Library (presumed to be Oakley Williams' edited publication, "Selections from The Work of P.A. de László", see also DLA035-0133). Hóman encloses his inaugural speech as Director General of the Hungarian National Museum. Second letter is a draft reply in de László's hand thanking Hóman for the copy of the inaugural speech. He reminisces about his childhood visits to the picture gallery. "I remember nearly every one of the pictures", he writes (item was previously archived with DLA015-0023) (DLA015-0080 ref'd in Hart-Davis as DLA015-0023, ch1, p4, fn14, notes p288).
