006-0020

17/04/1903

Letter from Paul Lambotte, then Secretary of the Société des Beaux-Arts in Brussels, concerning the Société's 1903 exhibition. Lambotte lets de László know that his paintings are hung in good positions, particularly his portrait of Cardinal Rampolla [4511]. He regrets that [4511] must be sent to the Munich Glaspalast before the exhibition finishes, and asks whether its departure can be postponed. He has been asked prices for two of de László's works, adding that he thought the study of the peasant [110949] was sold, and that people cannot believe his portrait of Baroness d’Erlanger is for sale. "Tell me your prices and I will try to find buyers", he writes
