007-0031

06/05/1912

Letter from the Director of the London and New Art School, W. Francklyn Helmore, to de László regarding his poor health. He regrets that he is therefore unable to attend the Artists' Benevolent Dinner, which de László had invited him to. In his absence, "Orchardson"[?] will take over his duties in the school. De László taught, without payment, for one morning a week at the school where he gave the portrait class for advanced students who planned to become professional painters
