015-0029

09/02/1924

Letter from de László's sister Paula (known as Pauline) to the artist in which she writes of her time spent with Princess Eulenberg (possibly Augusta Alexandrine Gräfin zu Eulenburg) at Starnberg Castle. She mentions her poor health, her love of music: "I shall never forget the effect on both of us simultaneously of the melody of Schubert’s music", and how she wishes she had become an opera singer. She thanks the artist for sending some gifts. Her "wonderful portrait" [2817] is at Dury's for framing, and that of "the boys is a feast for the eyes!"
