Letter from Oliver Garrison Ricketson on behalf of Mrs Thomas Morrison Carnegie to de László concerning a commission. Ricketson outlines that Mrs Carnegie had seen de László's portrait of Alfred East [3385] in the latter's studio whilst in the company of de László. East subsequently informed Mrs Carnegie that de László agreed to paint four portraits of the same size as [3385] for £400 each. January/February of 1908 would suit Mrs Carnegie, who lives in Cumberland Island, Georgia
