Letter from Susan Strong to de László informing the artist that Mr Agnew has given her a cheque for £200, which is a six month interest-free loan. In return, he has sent "for the great treasure", which she can regain at the end of the loan period. If she is unable to repay the loan, information will be required about the price of the portrait. She thanks de László for all he has done to help her "over this tragic time"
