Letter from Nelly von Schmidt to de László regarding her visit, with Mathilde, Countess di Trani, to the 1907 Cannes salon. De László's portrait (not named in the letter, but, based on contemporary reviews, she is presumably referring to the portrait of Monsignor Count Péter Vay [5617]) has the best place and excellent light. Von Schmidt notes that everyone likes the images of Princess Mimi, which the Fürstin has said may be reproduced in a magazine. She adds that the Fürstin is still ill
