012-0016

05/11/1906

Letter probably from Paul Westerweller d’Anthoni in praise of a portrait of a lady by de László, which the sender had first admired at an exhibition. "I cannot remember ever having seen a portrait that steps out of its frame like this and allows the frame to be forgotten", he writes. "The effect was so deceptive that one could imagine seeing the beautiful lady in front of one!" Westerweller d’Anthoni adds that he would like to show de László a portrait of his wife
