Letter from Frederick Anthony White thanking de László for the reproduction of his portrait of Wilhelm II. White writes of his hope that by January 1913, they will "congratulate each other and all the world on the passing[?] of the war-cloud which can only cease to be ominous when these conquerors & conquered and the ambassadors of all the powers have succeeded in untying a very tangled skein"
