De László's pictures at The Royal Glasgow Institute of the Fine Arts [11622][8180] were admired, though could have been better hung. Encloses a letter from the chief secretary of an insurance company in Dundee who was impressed with the artist's portrait of Anny Ahlers [2449]. Mr Macbeth has sent a letter concerning his daughter's portrait [3918].
