    De László’s portrait of Siklóssy [111404] has been praised by notable figures like Ferenc Herczeg and Gyula Kornis. Siklóssy supports the idea of de László painting Herczeg. He agrees to a 4-page preface for the Hungarian edition of “Painting a Portrait”, requesting selected photos. Plans to exhibit the portraits of himself and Wekerle [111100], and notes the Regent’s portrait [110886], much admired by Sándor Sztranyavszky, will feature prominently in the Nemzeti Szalon; it will be officially unveiled at the opening of Parliament.
