Kautsch is glad de László is in the mountains, however, he (de László) seems overworked. Kautsch is busy with work. He asks whether they could meet in Munich. Beneditte [Bénédite?] agrees that de László should not postpone his dedication for too long; he mentions "George Petit's" and "acquired by the State", but that it is ultimately de László's decision.

The sender, Eton educated, had been Aide-de-Camp to Lord Roberts from 1891 to 1893. "I love Eton and I love the Chief", he states in this letter
