Siklóssy clarifies that de László is not upset about the lack of results from the 1933 prize draw, but about the uncertainty surrounding the fate of his donated painting [6316]. De László was unaware of the Lady Chilston Fund and believed the painting would be raffled to support struggling artists. He now wishes it either be sold quickly for that purpose or gifted to a public collection.
