László Almássy thanks de László for painting a portrait of the Regent Horthy [110886] for the Hungarian House of Representatives. Encloses a photograph taken on the occasion of the artist's visit to the House. Item includes a draft reply from de László thanking Almássy for his hospitality and noting the pride he feels in being able to offer a portrait of a "forever eminent" and "shining star" of Hungarian history to the nation.
