    A Permanency Commission for art-related concerns with headquarters in Paris was founded at the last artists’ congress in Rome. Every nation has 1 painter, 1 sculptor, 1 architect, etc. De László was suggested as the painting representative for Hungary; Kautsch would like to know if de László will accept this position; Kautsch mentions some awards he has recently received.

    Kautsch attended the first "Permanency meeting" ahead of June's grand Art Congress, "a fraternisation from all artists from all countries". The other artists were sorry de László was not there; Kautsch spoke on his behalf. The Permanency Commission was elected for five years; there were no Hungarians present; the Viennese sent many well-known people (e.g. Klimt, Hoffmann); Kautsch was elected delegate in Vienna and de László as "Secretaire"; he will receive official notice.
